My uncle is an egg dealer. I and my mother loves buying broken eggs from him. Not literally broken, just eggs with small crack. The good reason is price. Regular eggs cost 5.5 pesos per piece while we can buy slightly cracked eggs three for ten pesos.

Slightly cracked eggs are cheap but I have to make sure that they are still good for consumption. Eggs is a good media for bacterial growth. I might suffer from food poisoning If I am not careful.
Two safety pointers when mixing fresh eggs into your meal:
1. Weather you are using cracked eggs or whole eggs, make sure they are fresh. Eggs may last for weeks to six months when properly handled and stored in refrigerator. If you are unsure of it quality, proceed to number 2.
2. Break just one egg into cup. Inspect appearance, color and odor. If you suspect something is wrong, discard the egg and egg and cup. If the egg is okay, drop it to your noodles (e.g.). Adding egg one by one make sure you don’t accidentally add spoiled egg to your food.
