How to Make Saluyot Fritters

1 cup young saluyot leaves
1 egg
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp rice powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
salt to taste

Cooking Preparations:
Select young saluyot leaves. Wash. Drain. In a bowl, beat egg thoroughly until fluffy. Add cornstarch, rice powder and baking powder. Season with ground pepper and salt to taste. Mix well until thick. Then add young saluyot leaves. Continue mixing. Get a lump of mixture, about two spoonful. Fry until light brown. Serve with catsup.
