Sugar in Fruits ?

My wife bought some fruits  before the onset of year 2010.  She preferred round fruits because its a superstitious belief that it will bring luck and prosperity for the coming new year. I hope so!

Before eating each fruit, I managed to measure their approximate sugar content .  I used the method similar to my older post sugar in soft drinks.  I never included calories this time.

Update as of May 17 2012. Sorry folks! I need a sugar refractometer or sugar hydrometer to update this article.  I will continue this once I got one.  The refractometer I used have gone to its original owner. Care to donate one for me?
