Banana As Coolant Food For Pregnant Women and Future Babies

Feeling hot! Well. There are several ways to cool yourself during hot weather.  Choose the method(s) that suit you well.

1) Stay under the tree shade and away from direct sunlight. Tree leaves absorb most of the sun heat.
2) Have a hand fan and wave it up and down towards your direction. This will help to cool you down a bit until your hand can manage to do the action.
3) Stay in front of electric fan. This will cause a rise in electric bill making your head even hotter during the payment date.
4) Buy an air conditioner if your are not satisfied with hand fan and electric fan. The place where the air conditioning equipment is placed should be closed to prevent the exit of cold air and lessen the load of air conditioner compressor. The thing will make your electric bill more than double. Any means of cooling will not make your hot head cool during payment period.
5) Drink a lot of water especially the cold water. Water helps lower down body temperature.
6) Wear white and light colored clothes. Dark color tend to absorb heat.
7) Avoid excessive movements. This technique is best suited for people like Juan Tamad.

8) Eat lots of banana. Yes! Eat banana. For unknown reasons, this fruit then to lower body temperature during hot weathers. It is also believed that it can lower down temperature and temper of pregnant women. It is also eaten by soon to be mothers to have a baby with cool temperature.

I tried to find some evidence to prove that banana can lower body temperature. The claim is also mentioned in several websites but they also failed to explain why. Through my search, I also found out that banana pulp can be used to sooth second degree burns.

Do you know why banana has a cooling effect? Any explanations will be appreciated.
